Doula Services
Includes a visit for each trimester, and one more visit before delivery to discuss preferred comfort measures and final birth preferences. I am available for support and resources throughout your pregnancy via text, email or even phone. Consider me your personal pregnancy Google! Once active labor has established, I will arrive at the hospital, your home or birth center and remain throughout your birth. After baby is born, I will make sure you are comfortable and assist with the first feeding if needed, then sneak away. Once your family arrives home I will visit within the first few weeks to make sure everyone is adjusting to the newborn life, and offer any resources that are needed.

Meet the Doula
I’m Racquelle!
As a Birth Doula- I support families throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I'm an extra support person who may help bridge the gap between the medical (OB/nurses, midwives, too) and the physiological experience of birth.
During pregnancy, we will stay connected, I'm there to help navigate conversations with your provider and offer education and information about pregnancy, birth and newborn care.
During labor, I help you remain as comfortable as possible by a multitude of physical comfort techniques, position changes, relaxation techniques and overall comfort. I encourage you and your partner to be in control of your birth and offer advocacy on your behalf. I offer guidance to your partner, and make sure you're both taken care of. Studies have shown that having a doula as a member of the birth team decreases the overall cesarean rate by 50%, the length of labor by 25%, the use of oxytocin by 40%, and requests for an epidural by 60%.
